Sharon Cole

Sharon earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Columbia College, and went on to earn a Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Carolina.  She has been a social worker for over 30 years, working primarily with children and families.  Since 1987, she has worked in the field of adoption, first with the Department of Social Services, and since 2001, as the Executive Director of Christian Family Services. 

She is a Licensed Master Social Worker, and Certified Investigator in Adoption Matters.  She is a past president and current treasurer of the South Carolina Association of Licensed Adoption Agencies.  She has provided training in the area of adoption to both professionals and adoptive families.

Sharon married her college sweetheart in 1978, and she and Dave have two sons, Matt and Justin.
